I did my PhD at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, working with Romeel Davé, and my Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Natural Sciences at Queens’ College, University of Cambridge, where I was a Foundation Scholar and worked with Dr Ricarda Beckmann and Prof Debora Sijacki. In my spare time I enjoy rugby (nowadays only as a fan, which is tough when you support England and Wasps), music (mainly Country, Americana, and especially Bluegrass), Films from the Golden Age of Hollywood, reading (mainly History), Corduroy, and attempting to learn the songbooks of Neil Young and of the late, great John Prine and Nanci Griffith on acoustic guitar.
I am always happy to discuss potential collaboration! Reach out to me at Fred.Jennings@unimore.it
